Most of these ideas are not positive, and that is what holds us back from happiness and success.
I believe that the people who have impregnated our thoughts with theirs, our parents, other family members and to a certain extent friends, teachers and other persons of influential status, did not do it with a malicious intent.
No, that's just the way they were raised.
People said to them, "You can't do that", or "That's not what everyone else is doing", or "Why are you trying to be so different?"
Or worse than that, "You will never amount to anything in life."
Do this, don't do that, in other words, be like everyone else or we will think less of you.
Well, I'll tell you the truth, I have never been like everyone else and I plan on staying that way.
I believe that we were created by the Most High God to be different and to walk our own path, with His guidance and blessings, of course.
Whether it be in our personal or business lives, we have to dare to be different.
I see a lot of unhappy people out there and I believe that they are that way because they haven't shaken off those negative mindsets yet.
We have the right and the power to change our lives for the good and we can simply do that by re-training our thought process.
We are not our parents and we are not bound by their rules anymore. Especially if those rules were contrary to what God has planned for us.
No matter where you are in life at this very moment remember this and believe it, YOU ARE VALUABLE, YOU APPROVED BY YOUR CREATOR, and YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO FULFILL YOUR DESTINY!
Like any other bad habit, you can break the one that has most people "jailed", "imprisoned" and held captive, bad thoughts.
Your success and happiness is in your control and only your control by just keeping your priorities straight.
Know that God is in control, He will guide your path, keep doing your best, and start a positive dialog with yourself by replacing any old, ingrained negative thoughts with upbeat, positive ones. This allows God to do His best work in our lives.
So, if financial or personal success has been elusive to you to this point, you just might have an idea why now.
I have had a lot of success in my life and probably just as many failures. But that is how we grow best, with a good mixture of both.
I laugh at failure, learn from the mistake and move on.
